A man is in danger of dying after he fell off a ladder while carrying out some repair works in a factory in Gozo on Wednesday evening.

Police said that they were informed of the incident at around 6:30pm at a factory in Triq Jean de la Valette in Xewkija, Gozo.

The victim is a 50-year-old man from Rabat, Gozo.  He was taken to the Gozo General Hospital for treatment and was certified as suffering from serious injuries.

Duty magistrate Simone Grech is leading an inquiry, while police and OHSA investigations are also ongoing.
