A biker was injured on Sunday afternoon after he lost control of the bike he was riding and crashed, the police said.

The accident took place in Triq il-Kbira, Rabat, at 2pm.

The biker, a man aged 58 of Zebbug, was riding a Yamaha Crypton.

He was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
