Traffic is at a standstill on the northbound man carriageways as the road between the tunnel leading to Paceville and the Paceville traffic lights is closed to traffic.

The traffic is stretched back kilometres to the skatepark and beyond.

Traffic is being diverted to the Spinola area. The tail back is also affecting traffic from San Gwann to the Sliema/St Julian’s area.
