The Malta Tourism Authority will be providing financial assistance for the restoration of the façade of the Parish Church of St. Publius in Floriana.

In addition to necessary interventions on the present structure, new lighting will be installed to enhance this renowned façade, particularly for events held annually at the Floriana Granaries.

This was announced following the signing of an agreement between the Malta Tourism Authority and the Cultural Heritage Foundation of the Archdiocese of Malta, in the presence of the Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo, and Floriana mayor Vincent Borg.

Bartolo said that this agreement signifies further investment in Maltese communities, heritage and identity.

"In this way, we aim to provide a tourist product that is more diversified, better, and of higher quality in our towns and villages," said the Minister.
