Two men and a woman were arrested after the police received a report that they had entered into a private property without permission, the police said.

On Tuesday, at 10pm, the owner of a villa in Silla Street, Swieqi, informed the police that he had seen the two men and the woman taking photos of his property. They had also approached the same property from the back and were looking inside.

From police investigations, including the use of CCTV footage, it resulted that the same three people had entered the property and, although they had not stolen anything, they were seen milling about until they left in a car.

The three persons involved, all from Hungary, were identified this morning and were arrested in St Julian’s, the police said.
