The Nationalist Pary is committed to continue its work to improve conditions for workers, the party said in a statement.

Opposition Leader Bernard Grech said that the PN meets regularly with all stakeholders as it believes that regular contact is essential to keep dialogue open with the social partners, so that the party can continue having politics that reflect the pulse of the people.

Grech delivered this message when he led the PN's delegation in a meeting with the Confederation of Maltese Trade Unions (CMTU) as part of the activities for Worker's Day. He added that the time has come for the state to move from words to facts so that the country will see the necessary investment for a better quality of life.

President of the CMTU, Martin Balzan, said that the people wish to see the country move forward with an economy based on quality and not quantity. He believes that the current economic model caused the infrastructure to struggle and that's why the government must exercise foresight.
