A man was killed after he was attacked by a bull in Gudja, the police said.

The accident took place in a farmhouse in Tarxien Road on Thursday at 9pm.

The man, a Nigerian aged 54, was attacked by a bull while he was working on the site.

He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries some time later.

Magistrate Antoine Agius Bonnici is leading an inquiry.
