An exhibition of paintings by Matthew Joseph Casha, is at present taking place at Rudy Buhler Art - the Colour Project, in Marsascala. The artist was finalist and winner of the Art Council Malta  "Premju għall-Arti" 2023.

Matthew's art is unique in the Maltese art landscape and is a result of his typical "outside the box" approach to everything he does. In this exhibition entitled Tmermir or Decay Matthew delves into the intricate interplay between form and decay, seeking to unveil the profound beauty inherent in the gradual erosion of structure and the emergence of macro-perspectives.

Through his work, he aims to capture the essence of impermanence, inviting viewers to contemplate the ever-evolving nature of existence and find solace in the relationship between creation and dissolution.

 

The exhibition at Rudy Buhler Art, 58 Triq is-Salini in Marsascala runs from 11 May until 16 June.  Regular opening hours are Wednesday to Sunday from 10am - 1pm and 5 - 8pm.
