The Electoral Commission notifies that polling days for these institutions are as follows:
St Vincent de Paul Residence and 34 Homes for the Elderly (see schedule) –
Saturday, 1 June, 2024;
Gozo General Hospital and Mater Dei, Karin Grech and Mount Carmel Hospitals –
Thursday, 6 June, 2024.
Voting hours are without interruption from 7.00 am till 10.00 pm.
St Vincent de Paul Residence and 34 Homes for the Elderly (see list below)
Persons who are registered as voters in these institutions as well as those who are resident (but not registered voters thereat) up to Saturday 25th May, 2024, may only cast their votes thereat on 1st June, 2024;
family members or other persons who are in possession of voting documents of persons currently residing at St Vincent de Paul or in the listed Homes should hand them over to the voters by not later than noon of Friday, 31 May, 2024;
on the 1st June there will be no visiting hours at these institutions.
Gozo General Hospital and Mater Dei, Karin Grech and Mount Carmel Hospitals:
voters who are registered as in-patients recovering in these hospitals as at 6pm of Monday 3rd June, 2024, shall vote in the Hospital in which they are recovering on Thursday 6 June, 2024 and not as indicated on their voting document/s. It is very important that such voters are in possession of their voting document/s by 4 June, 2024.
