The Union of Professional Educators said Friday its members who did not attend a Community of Professional Educators (COPE) meeting as per union directive were afterwards not given donuts by the head of school.
On its website, the UPE said it received information that during yesterday’s COPE session, the staff members at a Primary school at St Thomas Moore College adhered to the UPE’s directives and abstained from attending the COPE meeting.
Subsequently, the Head of School, along with the rest of the management, distributed donuts to members of staff except for those who are UPE members, the union said.
“This immature behaviour only strengthens our determination to oppose such unethical public servants,” the UPE added..
