A motorcyclist was injured on Sunday evening when he lost control of the bike he was riding and crashed into barriers, the police said Monday.

The accident happened in Zewwieqa Street, Qala, at 9.30pm.

The biker, a man aged 35 of Victoria, was riding a Honda FSH.

He was taken to Gozo Hospital with grievous injuries.
