Speaker of the House of Representatives Anglu Farrugia laid flowers at the graves of the victims of the Sette Giugno 1919 riots during a commemorative ceremony held at the Addolorata Cemetery in Paola on Sunday.
President Myriam Spiteri Debono also laid a wreath at the Sette Giugno 1919 monument in St George's Square, Valletta, as part of the commemorations marking the anniversary.
