A 57-year-old man from Nadur sustained grievous injuries following a traffic accident in Nadur on Tuesday evening.

Police said they were informed of the incident at around 8pm in Triq Daħlet Qorrot, Nadur.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the man was struck by a Malaguti motorcycle being ridden by a 30-year-old woman from Xagħra.

A medical team and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene, and the injured man was taken to the Gozo General Hospital for treatment.

He was later certified as suffering from grievous injuries.

Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
