There were long queues to get down to Mgarr Harbour on Monday evening, after a problem with two trucks blocked the access road down to the port.

Facebook page Maltese Road Traffic Updates said that a truck had broken down on the access road as it drove up towards Ghajnsielem.

This was then compounded with another truck heading towards the ferry getting stuck while trying to pass through to get to the harbour.

This has created significant congestion on what is the only access road to the Mgarr Harbour.
