The Labour Party will convene its General Conference, as stipulated in the Party Statute following every general election, to confirm the Party Leader and Deputy Leaders, the party said Friday.

The Labour Party's Electoral Commission will be accepting nominations for the Party leadership between Monday 22 and Wednesday 24 June.

Voting will take place on Tuesday 30 June and Wednesday 1 July at the Labour Party headquarters , while Gozitan members may vote on Wednesday 1 July at the Labour Party Centre in Ta' Sannat.

Early voting will be held on Saturday 27 June at the Labour Party headquarters for those who submit a request to the Electoral Commission by Tuesday 23 June.

The General Conference will take place on Tuesday 30 June, Wednesday 1 July, and Thursday 2 July at the Labour Party headquarters in Ħamrun.
