The match had no story, as Athleta walked all over their opponents in the opening session, and then could put in their bench players. Balkan did rally a little, but they were far back, and their six-man side will have difficulties in later matches....

Luxol were coming on the back of two victories, but they were no match for the champions, who dominated from the second period onwards, and made the game safe, well before the end. When Luxol finally produced a good finish, it was just to make up a more respectable score, as the Paolites were far ahead, and untouchable. ...

A storming ending to match, by the Luxol lasses, gave them the spoils, against the overwhelming favourites, and unbeaten, Starlites, who saw their sole top spot now being shared with the reigning champions, Hibs. Luxol came back from an initial two league game loss, to grab back to back victories. ...

Depiro had claimed Hibernians' scalp, the week before, and they followed up with their second league win, at the expense of Balkan, who, however, did not take it lying down, but produced a fighting performance, even if they had a reduced outfit, of just seven players, and were foul hit towards the end of the encounter. ...

The champions put last week's surprise defeat behind them, to register their second victory in three matches. On the other hand Athleta could not follow up to their opening league win, against Luxol, in their last encounter, and are on a solitary win in four matches....
