The first of the 20 people arrested last weekend to be arraigned, the young man pleaded not guilty to the charges. The court, presided over by magistrate Joseph Cassar, ordered the accused to be remanded in the custody of the juvenile section of the Corradino Correctional Facility.

Inspector Josric Mifsud prosecuted while Dr Roberto Attard Montalto and Dr Joseph Giglio appeared for the accused.
