Ban on overtime at EMS

These industrial actions came about following disagreement between management and union as regards the worker complement in the company. The union said that lack of personnel is causing disservice to the public and also undue pressure on the workers.

The union section has long been insisting with management on this issue but, the union said, management does not seem to heed.

The union warned it is ready to launch further industrial action over the coming period so that it safeguards the interests of the workers.
