Saviour Azzopardi, from Naxxar, yesterday pleaded guilty to corrupting and attempting to indecently assault a young girl at St Luke’s hospital in March.
The court, presided over by Magistrate Saviour Demicoli took the accused’s early guilty plea into consideration and in addition to the 18-month prison term suspended for three years, ordered him to pay a Lm50 fine.
