The competition, which is open to locals as well as visitors to the Maltese Islands, is being organised by the MTA in collaboration with the Malta Photographic Society and under the auspices of the Tourism and Culture Minister.

Tourism Enriches is an awareness programme campaign of the World Tourism Organisation.

“The Malta Tourism Authority is the first tourism organisation worldwide to endorse the WTO’s Tourism Enriches campaign, which was launched earlier on this year in Madrid, as part of its own tourism awareness efforts”, said the MTA’s corporate communications and business development senior manager Leonard Zammit Munro.

The closing date for entries for this photography competition is 3 September. Prizes include flights and weekend breaks courtesy of Air Malta and the Radisson SAS Baypoint Hotel.

Entry forms are available at the reception area of the Malta Tourism Authority at Auberge D’Italie, Merchants Street, Valletta and from the MTA’s Tourist Information Offices at City Gate, Valletta and Mgarr, Gozo.

The best entries will be included in an exhibition which will be inaugurated on World Tourism Day, 27 September.
