The man, Christopher Pace, claimed he had suffered injustices at the hands of the Tax Department: not being esteemed and being transferred to the medical stores.
The court turned down Mr Pace’s first complaint of not being esteemed.
The Injustices Tribunal ruled that no reason was given for Mr Pace’s transfer and no negative reports had been made against him regarding his work. The tribunal, presided over by Mr Justice Carmelo Farrugia Sacco, upheld Mr Pace’s complaint and ordered that he be compensated.
Dr Edward Zammit Lewis and Dr Jose Herrera appeared for Mr Pace.
