Twenty-five families living in Pembroke filed a protest demanding precautions be taken to prevent the roads flooding and damaging their property.

The Pembroke local council spoke with the authorities in question but its demands have not been met. The council has asked for the upgrading of several roads in Pembroke and the construction of

culverts in others.

The residents are holding the authority and director responsible for any damages caused, or that could be caused, due to their negligence.
