The delegation will visit Tourism Minister Francis Zammit Dimech and will pay a courtesy visit to President Edward Fenech Adami.

The Malta China Friendship Society took the opportunity of the delegation’s visit to Malta to mount an exhibition of Chinese artist Na Yuan at the Calypso Hotel. The exhibition will be opened tomorrow evening by Gozo Minister Giovanna Debono and vice-Minister Yu.

The delegation is expected to visit an audio visual and electronic publishing company, a publishing house and a printing press.

Malta China Friendship Society president Reno Calleja, who was in China in February, was entrusted with the organisation of the delegation’s visit to Malta after meeting top GAAP officials at the World Tourism Fair in Shanghai, and travelled to Beijing to discuss the arrangements.

The Chinese Embassy in Malta, the Tourism Ministry, the Malta Tourism Authority, the Foreign Affairs Department, the Gozo Ministry’s Cultural Directorate and the management of the Calypso Hotel in Gozo have all been involved in the arrangements to ensure that the delegation has a successful visit to Malta.
