Mrs D’Amato was speaking yesterday at a press conference to announce the details of this year’s Care and Awareness Fair 2004 to be held at the Trade Fair grounds Naxxar between 20 and 23 of this month.

This year the fair, being held for the 10th year, is expected to attract some 75 participants, a good number of which are involved with services for the elderly.

The aims of the fair are to promote the services of the NGOs taking part, to provide participants with the opportunity to explore areas of cooperation and to encourage the public to undertake voluntary work.
