The editorial board, which is composed of three lecturers at the University of Malta Fr Joe Borg, Dr Mary Anne Lauri and Professor Domenic Fenech, will be independent of the company’s board of directors.

Other ex officio members of the board are the company’s chief executive officer, programmes manager and news manager. However, these members do not have a vote on matters discussed by the board.

According to its terms of reference, the editorial board is responsible for ascertaining that all programmes reflect the nature of the company as a public broadcaster and general government policy.

It should ensure that the policy is implemented though its news bulletins and current affairs programmes.
