This visit was made possible following direct contacts between the British High Commissioner, His Excellency Mr Vincent Fean, and the East Sussex Council.

During this visit, the two councils signed a

cooperation agreement which shall pave the way towards the official twinning agreement in the near future. A series of discussions of interest to both councils were held including those on funding opportunities from EU.

One of the first activities planned for the coming weeks will be the participation of both councils together at the UK pavilion during the forthcoming Malta International Trade Fair.
