Who is Norman Lowell?

I am an artist and an author – that means you can't get any lazier than that! However, this gives me time to think, and what I think about makes me worried, slightly worried. Our country is being sold out, betrayed by both major parties and the Church. Within a few years our children will be strangers in their own land.

What are the characteristics you can bring to these European Union elections?

Honesty and forthrightness, something that the established parties can never, ever give due to their fear of losing those handful of votes that determine total power or total zero-sum.

Briefly outline your political campaign and the proposals you have to change the system of government in Malta?

First and foremost: an end to immigration. We must be merciless – it is a fight for our very survival. Second, I will work for a National Unity Government, drawing the best people from the university, the military, business and finance. This government of technocrats could turn this island around in just four years of honest, hard work. Third, make Malta the Spiritual Focal Point of a Nova Europa. A sacred island drawing millions of Europeans here to discover their spiritual roots.

Do you believe that your occasionally extreme statements with regard to certain sensitive issues in the media could be detrimental to your campaign?

Me ne frego! Ideological truth and consistency come before expediency. I have to be myself: essere e’, fingere non e’!

What is the policy of 'Imperium Europa' with regard to the regeneration of culture in the EU?

I intend to touch base with all patriotic forces in Europe, from Iceland to Vladivostock. We will create a new political grouping called Nova Europa, based on “Revolutionary Conservatism.” A Europe completely different to the present squalid market place that prevails today. A Europe based on spiritual, aristocratic values. This Nova Europa will blossom into an Imperium Europa as soon as the USA collapses, which is inevitable. The political vacuum created will perforce push us into the Imperium.

If you are elected, which committees in the EU would you like to work in?

I am completely indifferent to committees – taking hours discussing minutes. My objective is political, alta politica. I intend to turn this Europe of minions into a Europe of Titans.

What is your final message to the electorate?

This is your last chance. You have been betrayed. We must regain our beloved island. Within a few years we will be living in a nightmarish, multi-racial mess, as is Birmingham, Bradford and Brixton. Only my movement, Imperium Europa, can save this island. We are the only Voice of Truth, the authentic voice of the people of Malta.
