The money was raised by means of a 50-hour bicycle marathon held by the school in March, in which a large number of students from this school and two others participated.

The money was presented to President Edward Fenech Adami, who expressed his gratitude and satisfaction at seeing these students’ efforts at raising money for those in need.

Dr Fenech Adami said that through solidarity, people can balance out the injustices of life. He explained that although academics are important, a basis of solid values that take others into account is of great priority.
