Malta Independent Saturday, 5 June 2004, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

The objective of this research programme, the seventh it has carried out, is to examine the type of listeners, viewers, readers etc., together with other related factors that are considered to be of help to all those concerned with the media industry.

Aspects such as frequency of viewing, audience share, advertising effectiveness, type of listeners/viewers/readers, together with many other factors, are examined to give a clear picture of the media market. The information is especially relevant when analysed in terms of the demographics of the Maltese population, allowing the user to identify any relevant segments in the market.

The media analysed consists of television, radio, newspapers, magazines, the Internet, billboards, cinema and advertising mail and the research study is now available in one of the following options:

Pack A – (television, radio, newspapers, magazines, the Internet, billboards, cinema and advertising mail)

Pack B – (television and the Internet)

Pack C – (newspapers and combined section: billboards, cinema and advertising Mail)

Pack D – (radio and magazines)

The research is carried out by means of a survey covering both Malta and Gozo. This research analysis, which is issued twice a year, is an essential tool for companies who are seeking information about the type of media to be used for particular campaigns, brands, products and services.
