Maltese ambassadors abroad and the ministry’s most senior officials will be in attendance during this first phase of a discussion process that will include a number of sectors from civil society.

The goal of the conference is to establish how the island of Malta can increase its political relevance and translate it into prosperity and security for the people.

The conference will address how Malta’s foreign affairs policy can generate economic growth and attract foreign investment. It will also evaluate the cultural facet of this policy, and the factors that can condition it.
