Private Investigator charged in court

Joseph Zahra, 50 from Marsascala, yesterday pleaded not guilty to all the charges pressed against him, including making defamatory allegations against people.

The court upheld defence counsel Joe Giglio’s request for bail. Mr Zahra was ordered to pay a Lm200 deposit and was granted bail against a Lm20,000 personal guarantee.

The court was presided over by Magistrate Anthony Vella while Superintendent Peter Paul Zammit and Ian Abdilla prosecuted.
