The members of the working group were nominated by the council with a fair representation of all social partners, and members were selected for their expertise and experience in the field.

As is to be expected, the document for discussion includes diverse proposals that do not necessarily reflect the views of all the members of the working group and in no way bind the organisations that are members of MCESD to any commitment prior to the discussion and final decisions of the Council itself, the statement concluded.
