Man In critical condition after power station accident

The accident took place early yesterday morning at around 9.30am. Preliminary investigations show that the man was climbing up a ladder in one of the engine rooms of the power station, when for no apparent reason he slipped from height of one storey. He was taken to hospital where he was found to be in danger of dying as a result of the injuries sustained.
The accident is being investigated by Valletta District Police.
