The ministry, together with St Julian’s local council, said such
acts were, unfortunately, a common occurrence in an area frequented by thousands of young people, and pointed out that such projects cost a considerable amount of money.
The ministry said that repair work is being carried out. It appealed to anyone who has any information about the incident to report it to the police.
