Two men and a youth were in the warehouse lift which was also carrying a quantity of aluminium when it gave way. Members of the Civil Protection Department were called in to free the people from the elevator.
One of the workers, who is 32 years old, was certified as being in a critical condition, while the other man and the youth were being kept under observation at St Luke’s Hospital.
