€1,782,136 was collected on Sunday in the yearly fund-raising telethon in aid of Dar Bjorn.

Bjorn and Maria, together with their team and a large group of volunteers, spent 12 straight hours raising funds for their new project, DAR Bjorn Respite - a home that will take in more people living with a neurological condition who need help every single day.

By the end of the day the total stood at a record €1,782,136 - a figure that shows, once again, how generous the Maltese and Gozitan people can be. DAR Bjorn can now carry on building this project and open its doors to more people who need somewhere to rest and receive the care they need.
