Louie Naudi, 48, of Naxxar pleaded not guilty to the misappropriation of more than Lm20,000 in European structural funds to the detriment of the Rural Affairs and Environment Ministry.
The compilation of evidence was called off as the prosecution’s main witness is recovering in hospital.
