Moviment Graffitti said that a number of non-governmental organisations and individuals have shown great interest in the Campaign for Peace and Neutrality. The Campaign aims to be active for the safeguarding of Malta’s neutral status.
Malta as one of the few neutral countries in the European Union, should be a voice in favour of world peace, and should not be accomplice to war and policies that threaten peace.The Campaign for Peace and Neutrality will take the form of a broad alliance where member Non-Governmental Organisations will have an equal say. Political parties may join the campaign as observers/supporters with no voting power.
The meeting will be held on Thursday at 6pm in Hall 1, GWU, Workers’ Memorial Building, South Street, Valletta. All those interested in participating are invited to attend.
