Steps were taken in hand immediately and the electricity service was restored by 6.50pm.

Also on Saturday, at around 4pm, the power was suspended temporarily in parts of Burmarrad and Bidnija due to another fault. The electricity service was completely restored by 7pm.

On Sunday, from 3.30am to 10am, the electricity service in parts of Cirkewwa and Comino was suspended due to additional faults in the high voltage network. Parts of Msida were also without power yesterday between 9.15pm and midnight due to a fault in the distribution system.

In all cases prompt action was taken to restore supply in the shortest time possible. Enemalta Corporation regrets any inconvenience caused by these power interruptions.
