In a statement issued yesterday, the MLP said the public’s support for the party was constantly growing as the 12 June elections showed.
The MLP will be organising political activities to send out its message of truth and its vested interest in the Maltese public. The workers, families, young people and the elderly will remain at the core of the MLP’s concerns, said MLP secretary-general Jason Micallef, who signed the statement.
The opposition claimed it will remain close to the public by setting up a serious policy aimed at creating more jobs and to safeguard people’s rights. This will lead the party to be in government once again, Mr Micallef said.
