Reno Buhagiar, 33, from Birkirkara is being charged with filing a false report and relapsing in view of seven previous convictions. At a hearing in a previous case against him, Buhagiar had told a magistrate he had a problem with usury, yet according to investigations made, this was not true.
Inspector Bernard Zarb prosecuted while Dr Roberto Montalto and Dr Josè Herrera appeared for the accused.
