The show yesterday began with a parade of Ferrari cars in the annual Vodafone Ferrari Raduno, which then went on to Gozo.
The bulk of the air show took place in the afternoon with the highlight being the precision daring display by the Italian Frecce Tricolori.
Today’s programme begins at 10.30am with a display by the Fire Section, followed by shows by the Royal Netherlands Air Force plane, the Royal Navy Jetstream, a glider and the Island Microlight Club members.
The afternoon show begins at 2.30pm with a display of Malta’s three Alouette helicopters, shows by Italian planes followed by shows, at 4pm, by an RAF Harrier jet and two Tornados from the German Navy.
The highlight of the show will be at 5pm with the concluding show by the Frecce Tricolori and a salute by the AFM Alouettes.
