It is expected that the Maltese and Libyan delegations will discuss illegal immigration, visa procedures, bilateral relations, the European Union and cooperation between Malta and Libya.

Meanwhile, Dr Frendo will have a meeting with Libyan Foreign Secretary Suliman Sassi al-Shohoumi, who will be in Malta this coming weekend.

Mr al-Shohoumi is also expected to have a meeting with Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Jason Azzopardi.

Dr Frendo and Mr al-Shohoumi are expected to pick up

discussion where they left off when Dr Frendo paid a visit to Libya last July.
