Referring to the intervention in parliament on Tuesday by opposition spokesman Michael Farrugia, who claimed it was a decision by FMS to redesign the road network around Mater Dei Hospital, the foundation said: “this is a totally unfounded version of reality”.

FMS said the Prime Minister had correctly stated at a recent press conference that it was Skanska’s estimates that had gone wrong and it was the close monitoring of the situation by FMS that had, in fact, exposed the problem.
