The main objectives of this support group are to provide both formal and informal meetings where families with multiples can share their experiences and also offer each other advice on coping skills and to serve as a pressure group so as to increase awareness about the many difficulties families with multiple births have to cope with.

In this way this group aims to act as a representative entity for all families with twins, triplets or more.

There are many projects for the future, among which are the setting up of a resource library which emphasises the nurturing of multiples, the organising of courses which focus on aspects of raising multiples, including parental skills, and also various activities which will involve all the family.

The Multiple Connection Support Group is also part of the Cana Movement.

The inauguration of the group was sponsored by Vivian Corporation Ltd, exclusive agents and distributors of three foremost baby care and nutritional brands: Chicco, Plasmon and Wyeth.
