Nicola Debono, 49, filed a false report at 5.45pm at the Qormi police station on 6 September 2004. He also committed perjury on the same day. Debono
admitted the crimes and was given a two-year conditional discharge.
Magistrate Giovanni Grixti presided over the court while inspector Michael Mallia prosecuted.
