The police said they received information that at around 11pm on the night in question, a girl had been slashed with a sharp object while walking along St George’s Road.
She was rushed to St Luke’s Hospital where she was found to be suffering from slight injuries because, luckily, the weapon had not penetrated any vital organs.
St Julian’s police are investigating the case.
