He and an accomplice demanded that the employees hand over the bag and a number of others were stolen from inside the van. He then ran to another van, driven by a third man, that was waiting in the area and fled the scene. The amount of money stolen has not yet been disclosed. Duty magistrate Dennis Montebello appointed a number of experts to assist in an on-site inquiry. CID and Birkirkara district police are investigating.
