Albert Vella, 49 from Mqabba, assaulted police constable Brian Seychell and Police Sergeant Silvio Magro at around 10.15pm in Mqabba and Zurrieq. He also breached the peace by shouting, fighting and blaspheming.
Inspector Joseph Agius prosecuted while magistrate Saviour Demicoli presided over the court.
