After the successful concert given by La Barokka, at the Hilton in early October, the soprano Maria Muscat will give another special night. Taking part are some of the best local and foreign artists, flamenco dancers, pop and classical singers, and musicians. Maria herself will sing her way through beautiful opera pieces, modern and ‘Gospel’. There will be arias from Bizet’s Carmen and songs from Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman’s repertoire such as Time to Say Goodbye and Miserere, and well as the soprano’s own compositions. Reuben Sciberras, Shirley Galea, Natasha and Charlene Grima, and other local vocalists will be joining Maria on the stage.

You may look forward to Flamenco dancers from Alegria Dance Company as well as African dancers, dancing to the beats of the junble to a blend of classical singing.

This La Barokka concert will again feature Gospel Songs and a Gospel Choir, performing the famous Amazing Grace.

La Barokka is also featuring the popular folklore singer, Frans Baldacchino, il-Budaj, with whom she is going to sing a very popular traditional Maltese song.
